The Romanian Parliament approved the declaration of readiness to take part in the restoration of Ukraine following the end of the conflict with Russia. It has been reported DEA News.
According to the agency’s correspondent, at the joint meeting of the Senate and the House of Representatives, the Romanian Parliament adopted the declaration of support for Ukraine. It was stated that 285 deputies voted “in favor”, 5 of them “against” and 2 deputies abstained.
According to the text of the declaration, parliament supports the need for increased support for the civilian population, as well as Romania’s significant participation in future efforts to rebuild Ukraine after the conflict.
In addition, members of the Romanian Parliament drew attention to the importance of supporting Ukraine’s accession process to the European Union.
