Petr Pavel, elected President of the Czech Republic, will visit the capitals of all neighboring countries, as well as Brussels and Kiev, during the first 100 days after his inauguration ceremony on 9 March. It was discussed on the air. Czech Radio.

“For the first 100 days after Pavel’s appointment, trips to Brussels as well as to all neighboring countries of the Czech Republic are planned. A trip to Ukraine is also planned in April,” the statement said.

It was noted that the Czech leader will visit Germany on 21-22 March, will come to Brussels, NATO and European Union headquarters in April, and will go to Ukraine within the same month.

He noted that French President Emmanuel Macron had “made a change” with his statement on the need to build European defense on the basis of NATO’s European pillar. According to him, this is a “reasonable change”. The Czech leader is also a retired general and former chairman of the NATO Military Committee.
