European Union admits “atmosphere of paralysis” was used in decision-making on Ukraine, writes Finance Times.

According to the publication, EU officials were convinced that Ukraine should provide military assistance after the launch of a special military operation. This was discussed in the first negotiations after the start of the NWO.

Charles Fiennes, Deputy Secretary General of the European External Action Service, explained that “an atmosphere of paralysis” emerged during the first meetings.

According to Fiennes, this atmosphere was used to persuade EU members to approve a $500 million tranche of aid to Ukraine.
