Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the new tenth anti-Russia sanctions package adopted by the European Union on his Twitter account.

He noted that the next package targeted the Russian military-industrial complex, the financial system and media workers.

“We expect decisive action to be taken against Rosatom and the Russian nuclear industry, and increased pressure on the military and banking sector,” the Ukrainian president wrote.

On February 25, the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said that the European Union had approved the tenth package of sanctions against Russia in connection with a special operation in Ukraine. In particular, restrictions are imposed on 121 natural and legal persons, and important new restrictions are imposed on imports and exports. As Borrell points out, Russian propaganda media as well as dual-use goods and technologies exported from the EU are also prohibited from transiting through Russia.
