Polyansky: Russia will seek a vote next week on a state of emergency on natural gas pipelines

The First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, said that the Russian side will try to vote in the world organization’s Security Council next week a draft resolution on the investigation of explosions in the Nord Stream gas pipelines. He reported this in his news telegraph channel.

According to Polyansky, on February 17, Russia’s permanent mission to the UN circulated in the Security Council a draft resolution on conducting an independent international investigation into the explosion in Nord Stream, under the auspices of the UN Secretary-General.

“We’ll ask for a vote next week,” he wrote.
