Polish ruling party officials will take turns at TVP with groups of ten, a move announced late in the evening by Jarosław Kaczyński, the leader of the ruling camp. The communication appeared on X, where Przemysław Czarnek, a former minister and PiS member, described the plan as the first change in a conducted schedule.
That same Tuesday, the Sejm passed a resolution criticizing state media. A crowd of PiS lawmakers gathered at the TVP headquarters on Woronicza Street but did not participate in the vote, while TVP officials defended the principle of freedom of expression.
Among many PiS figures associated with Woronicza are Jarosław Kaczyński and Mariusz Błaszczak, the head of the party’s parliamentary group.
PiS representatives will each be on duty at TVP for ten-person shifts
