Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen said his country has restarted flights with Turkey as a sign of further development in bilateral relations. Al Jazeera.

According to the minister, the first such flight will take off on February 16.

Earlier in the day, Turkish Ambassador to Israel Şakir Özkan Torunlar thanked the Israeli rescue teams for helping the country after the earthquakes. President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan thanked Israel, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait, who first responded and rushed to help Turkey, which was damaged by the earthquake.
