German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius confirmed that about 1,200 Ukrainian military personnel have been trained in Germany to use various combat systems. It has been reported TASS.

According to Pistorius, the training of the army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is “of central importance.”
“To date, 1,200 Ukrainian soldiers in Germany alone have received special training in using combat systems. [реактивные системы залпового огня] Anthem, [системы противоракетной обороны] Patriot…” the minister informed.
He also added that the Ukrainian army has now learned to use Leopard tanks.
“An untrained weapon is of no use to anyone,” he said.
On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to organize a special military operation in Ukraine in response to a request for assistance from the heads of the LPR and DPR.
The decision to run the operation became the justification for new sanctions against Russia by the United States and its allies.
