It’s just a hood! Even the cover. Renata Grochal and “Newsweek” decided to “DISCOVER” how PiS allegedly rigged the election. It’s all based on one man’s story. And the best thing is that these revelations do not stand any confrontation with reality.
What is Grochal trying to treat readers to in his “Newsweek” cover text? We were presented with an interview with Marek Zagrobelny, who introduces himself as a “former PiS activist” and the author of the book “Love PiS”. Theme? Scaring readers that the changes to the Electoral Act are intended to allow PiS to manipulate the election.
Zagrobelny was a member of PiS for 12 years, he took part in the party-organized Election Protection Corps and also served on election commissions on behalf of PiS. In an interview with “Newsweek,” he reveals that he witnessed PiS rigging elections, and in some cases was involved in vote rigging himself
we are reading.
Sound shocking? And that’s how the stories of Zagrobelny should be. Here are some examples:
The Election Protection Corps has always been a partisan form of election protection. Since PiS is now in power, it is clear to me that they want to somehow institutionalize it and subsidize it with party money
the man tells Newsweek.
I was in such an election protection corps several times in 2007-2014 and I can say with full responsibility: members of this corps were always willing to falsify individual votes. (…) It is known that nothing can be falsified in the IT systems used during the elections, because they are very secure. Once the committee’s protocol has been created and the data entered into the system, there is nothing that can be done about it. Elections, on the other hand, are manipulated – and PiS members have coded it in their heads – at the lowest level, i.e. at the stage of the district election commission, before the protocol is drawn up. (…) You just put crosses on ballot papers or forge voters’ signatures. This is done discreetly
– “reveals” further. Small? Please:
A member of the Election Commission discreetly takes a pen, paints a cross on the tip of his finger, and when his hand touches the ballot paper, he blows on his finger so that the ink gets wet and makes a cross as if he were stamping a seal on the card. If it is a card on which a Civic Coalition vote is cast, it adds a second cross to another party’s list, and it is known that if there are crosses on two different lists, the vote is invalid. Such an addition of a cross – even a reflected cross – is always treated later as being placed by the voter, because this is the procedure. In addition, a number of different situations are created to falsify individual votes.
Zagrobelny admits to editor Grochal that he witnessed and “in some cases influenced vote rigging.”
We met at trainings organized by the party for members of election commissions, and separately we had trainings at PiS HQ as part of the PiS Election Protection Corps. Reports were made there, sometimes directly and sometimes indirectly, because people were afraid that the ballot papers would have to be forged (…) . However, there were such informal recommendations
we are reading.
Zagrobelny almost tries to “confess”, calling PiS “a special party” and Jarosław Kaczyński “a crafty, crafty fox”.
Mass online criticism
It had to be menacing, sensational, outrageous. Of course, some representatives and voters of the total opposition will “swallow” everything to have one more reason to fight against the power they hate. The problem, however, is that only the percussion cap was served. Many commentators accurately pointed to Zagrobelny’s revelations.
For a long time, all PiS training for regional district members and trustees has warned of this legendary cross on the finger. Mr. Zagrobelny had to attend one of them and he did it à rebours. By the way, has anyone tried checking the finger as a stamp?
Did Mr. Zagrobelny just confess to rigging the election and covering up the crime?
Precisely
Górowski poviat, where the promoted Zagrobelny started, results from 2014: – invalid votes: 29.7 percent. (almost thirty percent), – PSL result: 38 percent. – PiS result: 16 percent. Maybe he got kicked out for faking the wrong thing?
If I’m wrong, someone please correct me. If Zagrobelny has been a member of PiS since 2003. and rigged the 2014 elections. and in the Górowski district PSL wins, the second is PO and there are the most invalid votes, whose man is he?
I wonder if it was possible to inform the readers that Marek Zagrobelny is one of the leaders of the movement of Marek Materek (mayor of Starachowice), who will be a candidate for parliament, so he competes with PiS.
I have a request to @sekielski. Have him draw a cross on his finger and mark it on a piece of paper. And then he tries to hit again. Not so pale, just to make it look real. Yes? You have to smear your finger every time. And here you have to falsify hundreds, thousands of cards to change the result by a fraction of a percent – there are 27 million eligible voters, the turnout is about 60 percent. I thought with the “exposed” about “Duda’s miles” or “luxury” from NSZZ “S” Lis set the limits of unashamed stupidity, but it turned out – it could have been more
Such fabricated stories can discourage people from going to the polls in the first place. But I understand that @NewsweekPolska is already preparing the ground for commentary on the election results. Such texts, even promoted on the cover, I find irresponsible.
The chairman of the OGB mercilessly scores the cover article
A series of tweets published by Łukasz Pawłowski, chairman of the National Research Group, became extremely popular on the Internet. He accurately verified the cover text of “Newsweek”.
At the last election 27,000 more than 200,000 people worked in election committees people. For 10 years, at least half a million people have “scrolled” through the committees, and the weekly managed to reach 1 (say: one) witness of counterfeiting and bases its statement and cover on that
he stressed.
Add crosses: Theories can be disproved in 5 minutes by checking PKW data. The number of invalid votes is decreasing from election to election. In 2011 it was 4.52%, in 2015 – 2.53% and in 2019 – 1.11%. Among the PO there were 3 times more. Does this mean that the PO manipulated more in the elections?

Schreiber accurately
Łukasz Schreiber, head of the Prime Minister’s Chancellery, also presented his remarks (very interesting).
There is nothing in the text about changes that would make it practically impossible to even carry out individual forgeries in the OKW. Until 2018, every KW put forward candidates and about 20 percent. fell off. Today, everyone represented in the Sejm is guaranteed a place. So the opposition starts 4:1. The opposition also has full control over what happens in the PKW. As a reminder, 4 of the 9 members are representatives, 3 are recommended by PiS, 1 is from the Supreme Administrative Court and the Constitutional Tribunal
he remembered.
The entire text is based on the words of a person who hates PiS and has been in Norway since the beginning of our rule. These alleged mass falsifications, I understand, took place when we were losing the election
– summarized the minister.

The last comment should be a simple statement that the revelations presented by editor Grochal in the cover text of “Newsweek” (currently led by Tomasz Sekieliski) were mercilessly criticized by … Roman Giertych. And why are they so cute?
