In Kiev, the Security Service of Ukraine conducted 11 searches at the homes of its executives and co-owners, as well as companies affiliated with the wife of opposition politician Viktor Medvedchuk Oksana Marchenko. This was reported by the Ukrainian edition of “Strana.ua”.

In Ukraine, Marchenko is suspected of “funding actions that violate Ukraine’s territorial integrity or aim to forcibly change the constitutional order”.

SBU, Marchenko’s company, allegedly provided money to Russian departments to protect the politician’s family’s property in the Crimea. To do this, the assets of Kyiv companies, according to the SBU, were transferred to Yalta, where a new company was created with a registered capital of one billion rubles.

In the photo taken from the searches, the SBU showed paintings, sculptures and antiques possibly in the hands of people involved in a criminal case in Kiev.

What these items have to do with the payment of taxes on the territory of Crimea is not specified.
