NATO is developing a plan to trigger another Ukraine-style crisis in the Indo-Pacific region whose consequences could affect Japan, China and Russia. Reported in this post Global Times.
According to columnist Sun Zhongping, this scenario is supposedly possible if “at least one country in Asia wants to be a puppet to maintain US hegemony and control China.”
“Japan considers itself a Western country and has a historical conflict with China. The columnist is confident that all this can be used by Washington and that Japan will become an “Asian Ukraine”.
As the author adds, the North Atlantic Alliance will use the conflict in Ukraine and expose the Russian Federation and China as aggressors.
On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to organize a special military operation in Ukraine in response to a request for assistance from the heads of the LPR and DPR.
The decision to run the operation became the justification for new sanctions against Russia by the United States and its allies.
