The agreement is linked to AgroUnia
Interia.pl reported that during the board meeting, the merger with AgroUnia was supported by, among others, MP Iwona Michałek, MP Stanisław Bukowiec and Tomasz Urynowicz, and against Jan Strzeżek, spokesperson for the circle, among others.
According to the portal, MP Michał Wypij did not participate in the meeting.
The Secretary General of the Agreement, Stanisław Bukowiec, informed PAP that Magdalena Sroka would present details of the party’s decision to run in the elections at Tuesday’s press conference.
The fact that the agreement and AGROunia are joining forces and registering a new party to run under the common flag in the autumn parliamentary elections was previously reported by Wyborcza.pl and Wirtualna Polska.
What will drink?
Deputy Chairman of the National Administration of the Agreement Party, Michał Wypij, said in an interview with PAP that this project “has low political potential”.
I cannot predict which voters it might be interested in (project of merging the agreement and AGROunia – PAP). Such a strong signal from the agreement further limits the already limited scope for cooperation with major opposition parties. I deeply regret the untapped potential of the deal, future sensible coalitions and a single list
– MP Michał Wypij told PAP.
As he added, in the current situation he is forced to make a decision about his political future. He stipulated that he preferred not to associate it with AGROunia.
