The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Switzerland has denied accusations that Russian diplomats working in Bern severely violated traffic rules. It has been reported DEA News.

According to Vladimir Khokhlov, the press secretary of the diplomatic mission, no complaints or applications from residents have reached the embassy in recent months.

He added that the Russian embassy building is adjacent to other diplomatic missions such as Germany, Algeria and Liechtenstein.

He added that Russian diplomats strictly adhered to the speed limit in the Elfenau area, so that none of them were penalized for speeding.

According to Khokhlov, cars of the Russian embassy are only parked on the embassy’s grounds.

Previously, Swiss media reported that residents of one of the districts of Bern, where the Russian diplomatic mission is located, filed a complaint with the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs alleging that Russian diplomats exceeded the speed limit and parked their vehicles incorrectly. According to media reports, the appeal was anonymous.
