The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, believes that the countries and financial institutions that Bishkek owes can take part in the construction of energy facilities and hydroelectric power plants in the country. It has been reported Sputnik Kyrgyzstan.

At the same time, he stressed that Kyrgyzstan does not refuse to fulfill its financial obligations. “We are not saying that these projects are funded only by donors and partners. We are also ready to invest,” he said.

According to Zhaparov, the problem of fog in the country has become one of the most pressing problems, and its solution requires an integrated approach. “Together, we implement green projects in Kyrgyzstan, in return our foreign debts are erased. We all want our children to live in a rich country with good ecology. We want to be a truly energy-free country that uses its potential rationally.”

The President of Kyrgyzstan reminded that 50 small and medium-sized hydroelectric power plants are being built in Kyrgyzstan.

Bishkek’s external debt today is 4.2 billion dollars.
