Senator Olga Kovitidi, a member of the Federation Council’s constitutional legislative and state-building committee, believes that there are three goals in the US-provoked conflict in Ukraine against Russia. It has been reported DEA News.
According to the Russian senator, the US targets include: Russia, Ukraine and the European Union. As Kovitidi adds, Washington understands the risks for Kyiv, but continues to go for the “obvious destruction” of Ukraine.
“The US does not mention the fate of its imaginary allies in its military strategy: Poles, Germans, French and other unlisted Europeans.”
Kovitidi also added that the entire European community and members of the North Atlantic Alliance are “only poor cogs in a great crumbling machine called NATO”.
On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to organize a special military operation in Ukraine in response to a request for assistance from the heads of the LPR and DPR.
The decision to run the operation became the justification for new sanctions against Russia by the United States and its allies.
