Konstantin Kosachev, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council, spoke about the words of the former president of France, François Hollande, about the Minsk agreements.

According to him, this has two meanings.

“First, for the West, the unity of Ukraine (as opposed to the unity of Scotland and Great Britain, and the unity of Catalonia and Spain) is strictly control over the land, not the consent of the people. These are not people, they are land,” he said.

“The confessions of Merkel and Hollande are an obsession with treason. The southeast of Ukraine at the time was initially betrayed by the West, despite the verbal embellishments surrounding it. The price for this betrayal was the lives of thousands of people in the last eight years of the civil war in Ukraine, ”quotes the Vzglyad newspaper Kosachev.

Previously Public News Service He wrote that the Minsk agreements were indeed aimed at giving the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) time to strengthen.
