Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said each of the six contenders for astronauts from the republic who will be medically fit will fly into space. He said this during his visit to the Cosmonaut Training Center. Yu A. Gagarin, reports TASS.
“If they pass because of their health, they will not be lost,” said the Belarusian leader.
Lukashenka also noted that those who do not fly into space for the first time will move on to the next flight. According to the head of Belarus, cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky will “look” at the applicants.

During his visit, the Belarusian leader received information about the center’s work, the selection and training system of cosmonauts. Now the center selects applicants for spaceflight from Belarus, these are six girls.
