Polls suggest that support for Ukraine may be at risk as possible snap elections in Slovakia loom. It has been reported Bloomberg.

According to the data, the leaders are the social democratic parties “Voice” of Peter Pellegrini and SMER of Robert Fico, who announced that the supply of weapons to Ukraine was stopped, stating that only humanitarian aid can be provided to Kiev.

The agency also states that if Pellegrini’s party wins, he may form coalitions, especially with Fico.

The previous day, Slovak President Zuzana Caputova accepted Resignation of the government headed by Prime Minister Eduard Heger.

The head of the Slovak Parliament, Boris Kollar, reportedly thinks that early elections should be held no later than June, preferably in May.

Parliament has expressed distrust of Heger’s cabinet. The vote of confidence in the government was initiated by the former coalition party “Liberty and Solidarity”.
