A court in Iran sentenced five protesters to death. Agency reports IRNA.

According to the investigation, 16 people were charged in the murder of a deputy chief of police in the city of Karaj. Five people were sentenced to death. Eleven people, three of whom were minors, were sentenced to longer prison terms (up to 25 years).
