Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said the fate of the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on Iran’s nuclear program) is “in the balance” due to the “pro-Western” IAEA decision. He told this to reporters TASS.

According to him, “if there is a desire”, it is possible to quickly arrange the restoration of KOEP.

He stressed that despite the lack of oversight, the START agreement is still in effect.

Previously, US Deputy Secretary of Defense for Political Affairs Colin Kohl, US thinkThe ongoing protests in Iran and the allegation that the Russian Federation is shipping weapons to Tehran invalidate the short-term re-establishment of the nuclear deal with Iran.

According to him, in the short term, the issue of restoring the Iran nuclear deal will not be on the agenda, given that “Tehran’s drones are attacking Ukrainian cities and the country’s government is cruel to its citizens.”
