It is clear that to whom the missile launched and fell on Polish territory should not belong, Russia is ultimately responsible for this criminal aggression against Ukraine, the head of the presidential office, Paweł Szrot, said on Wednesday.

“I have no doubt it wasn’t our racket.”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this on Wednesday in response to Tuesday’s rocket explosion in Poland, the Interfax-Ukraine agency reported. Zelensky added that Ukraine should be allowed access to the blast site.
The presidential minister comments on Zelensky’s words
Szrot, when asked on RMF FM radio on Wednesday about Zelensky’s words, replied:
It is clear that whoever the missile that was launched and landed on Polish territory belongs to, Russia is ultimately responsible for this criminal aggression against Ukraine.
The head of the president’s office pointed out that the Ukrainians are constantly defending themselves.
Let me remind you that yesterday’s attack was over 100 missiles in the air. Unparalleled destruction, attacks on civilian infrastructure, great bestiality
said Szrot. He pointed out that “there is, of course, still some uncertainty in this matter, a margin of error”.
We don’t think it’s too big
he stressed.
Asked if it was a Ukrainian missile, Szrot replied that there were many indications of it at the moment.
President Andrzej Duda has been talking about this since the morning. He also presented the same information to the National Security Council
– said the head of the president’s office.
When the Ukrainian side wanted to be allowed to the scene of the incident, Szrot replied that it was a matter of talking and arranging.
We will certainly not hide anything from our Ukrainian friends, from our NATO allies or from the public opinion of the whole world. I think everything should be clear and transparent here
– noted the head of the President’s Office.

Explosion in Przewodowo
On Tuesday after 15 – as reported by representatives of the Polish authorities – in the village of Przewodów, located near the border with Ukraine (Hrubieszów poviat, Lublin province), a grenade fell; two Polish citizens died as a result of the explosion. Russian forces launched a large-scale missile strike on Ukraine on Tuesday afternoon, mainly targeting energy facilities.
As President Andrzej Duda announced on Wednesday after a meeting at the National Security Bureau, there are no indications that the Przewodowo incident is a deliberate attack on Poland and we have no evidence that the missile was launched by Russia. As the president said, “there is a high probability that it was a missile used for missile defense, i.e. it was used by the Ukrainian armed forces.”
