Xiaomi unveiled a broad lineup that centers on the Xiaomi 12T Series, introducing two new devices: the Xiaomi 12T Pro and the Xiaomi 12T. The series focuses on upgrades in the camera system, video capabilities, and faster loading experiences, aiming to elevate daily mobile use for users in Canada and the United States.

The Xiaomi 12T Pro stands out with an industry-leading 200 MP imaging system. Powered by cutting-edge hardware and Xiaomi’s own AI algorithms, it delivers standout image quality, strong night photography, and rapid autofocus. With refinements across the board, it captures fine detail even in challenging lighting or when subjects are moving, helping users maintain sharp focus without compromise.

Among its camera features is a 2x zoom option that leverages a large sensor, the 1/1.22-inch type, to produce rich, detailed shots. Tools like Xiaomi ProCut and Ultra Burst assist users in intelligently cropping and composing near-professional content. The Pro version also supports 8K video capture, marking a solid leap in video resolution on a flagship device.

In contrast, the Xiaomi 12T carries a strong triple-camera setup: a 108 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2 MP macro camera. This combination delivers versatility for everyday photography, from wide landscapes to close-ups.

The Xiaomi 12T Pro is driven by a 4nm TSMC Snapdragon platform, delivering higher CPU and GPU performance—approximately 16.7% and 11% gains, respectively—while reducing power usage by around one-third to thirty percent compared with previous generations. Its cooling system is enhanced with a vapor chamber that is notably larger by about 65% and uses thermal material coverage that is about 125% wider than in the prior model. These improvements help maintain performance in sustained tasks and gaming while preserving battery efficiency.

The Xiaomi 12T relies on the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Ultra chipset manufactured on TSMC’s 5nm process. An updated GPU fabric boosts performance and efficiency, with faster clock speeds, improved cache, and faster storage compared with the earlier model, resulting in a more fluid user experience across apps and media tasks.

Both phones include a substantial 5,000 mAh battery and support 120W HyperCharge technology. The pair can reach a full 100% charge in under 20 minutes, enabling long screen-on time—up to around 13.5 hours in typical usage. The devices also feature Xiaomi AdaptiveCharge, which aligns charging behavior with daily routines to help extend long-term battery health.

The display on both models is an AMOLED CrystalRes panel measuring 6.67 inches, delivering a 1220p resolution with a broad color range. Smart features include AdaptiveSync, which adjusts refresh rate to match content and usage, and Adaptive Reading Mode, which reduces blue light to ease eye strain during extended sessions. The visual experience is further enhanced by a design that minimizes fingerprints with a curved matte back and a compact, comfortable feel in the hand. Available color options include black, silver, and blue. In terms of value, a limited-time pre-purchase deal through October 12 offers a RedmiPad tablet in the 4+128 configuration as a gift for 329 euros, adding a compelling accessory incentive for early buyers.

Additionally, a pre-purchase incentive grants €99 off RedmiBuds 4 Pro earphones if ordered by October 12. The Xiaomi 12T Pro will be marketed in two storage configurations, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, as well as a higher-end 12GB+256GB variant, with a listed price of 749 euros. The Xiaomi 12T will be offered in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB options, starting at 599 euros, giving buyers a range of choices to fit different needs and budgets.
