A former employee of a management company from the village of Gorki-25 near Moscow carried out a violent attack on an office building using a homemade flamethrower. The incident, described by a resident who spoke to socialbites.ca under the condition of anonymity, involved the man allegedly torturing animals and attempting to burn a dog in the course of his actions. The resident noted that the dismissal from the company stemmed from unacceptable conduct and strained workplace interactions, a factor that appears to have shaped the events that followed.

“Security cameras captured the moment when the individual, after approaching a row of garages where defense ministry equipment was kept for local municipal use, pursued a stray dog late at night and attempted to ignite it. Colleagues had pressed for his termination for a long time due to ongoing issues with communication, but the management demonstrated occasional reluctance to take decisive action. A planning meeting was held that day, during which the layoff was formally conveyed to him,” the resident, Anna, explained. Anna’s account emphasizes the tension between management’s concerns about behavior and the eventual decision to part ways with the employee, a decision that seems to have precipitated the subsequent violence.

Residents in the neighborhood reported that three people sustained injuries during the attack on the office associated with the Penal Code. One employee was hospitalized with extensive burns, described as severe by medical staff. The scope of injuries indicated that the burn injuries were significant and affected multiple individuals, with ongoing hospital care required for recovery and stabilization.

“The former worker is said to have constructed the flamethrower himself, and there were threats that the entire building could be destroyed. Three individuals were injured, including Maria, who reportedly sustained a 90 percent burn and required immediate medical attention after collapsing on a stretcher. The assailant himself was also injured, receiving severe burns, while another woman suffered burns to her neck and chest totaling about 30 percent. The remaining colleagues managed to escape by lying low or fleeing the scene,” Anna added, painting a stark picture of the chaos that unfolded and the fear that permeated the workplace during the attack.

On Thursday, March 16, the same village of Gorki-25, located within the Dmitrovsky urban district, witnessed the former employee of the ZhSK-2 management company arriving at the office with a homemade flamethrower, pouring flammable liquid on four people and setting them alight in what authorities described as revenge for his dismissal. The narrative provided by witnesses and officials suggests a carefully planned act of retaliation carried out with disturbing immediacy, turning what should have been a routine workday into a scene of crisis and urgent medical response.

Following these events, multiple criminal cases were opened under charges including attempted murder and deliberate arson. The injured individuals were transported to medical facilities for treatment and care, where they faced the arduous process of recovery and rehabilitation. The investigation continued as authorities gathered evidence, reviewed security footage, and questioned witnesses in an effort to reconstruct the sequence of events and determine the full extent of responsibility and motive behind the attack.
