ATOR reported that a 21-day tour to Montenegro will cost Russians 51.9 thousand rubles per person.

The Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) cited data from domestic travelers regarding the price framework for extended overseas trips lasting 21 nights or longer. This information appeared on the organization’s website.

“Currently we see long-duration tours accounting for up to 20 percent of bookings for both international trips and travel within Russia. Tourists are purchasing full tour packages as well as individual ground services,” stated Anna Filatovskaya, advertising and PR director at the Russian Express tour operator. She noted that the primary groups seeking extended stays include families with children, remote workers, and individuals looking to change their living situation for a while.

As a result, market participants identify Montenegro as one of the most price-attractive destinations, with accommodation costs averaging 51.9 thousand rubles per person for longer stays. Travelers can also consider Turkey at around 89.9 thousand rubles, Armenia from 92 thousand rubles, and Serbia from 95 thousand rubles for extended trips.

Longer trips to Thailand, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka tend to be more expensive. The cost of travel to several Asian destinations typically ranges from 106.1 to 109.9 thousand rubles, depending on the route and inclusions.

According to the press service of the Russian Express company, the highest travel expenditures are observed in destinations such as Croatia, the United Arab Emirates, and the Maldives, where vouchers begin at roughly 132 thousand, 280 thousand, and 494.8 thousand rubles, respectively.

Earlier information on airline ticket pricing to open foreign destinations indicated a broad spectrum of options for Russians. For instance, the most economical March fares include Abkhazia, where flights to Adler start from about 5,000 rubles. Affordable options also exist to Belarus from around 15 thousand rubles, Armenia from 43.3 thousand rubles, Kyrgyzstan from 45 thousand rubles, Turkey from 50 thousand rubles, and Georgia from roughly 70 thousand rubles.
