HE CEU Chamber Campus business school will partner with Camera Alicante and CEU Cardenal Herrera University to offer specialized training for entrepreneurs and managers. The programs target sectors with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises, aiming to distinguish this new center as a practical hub that serves the province’s productive fabric. The collaboration seeks to deliver sector-specific training that aligns with local business needs and growth opportunities, positioning the center as a clear resource for the regional economy.
This plan was unveiled at the project launch event held this Friday at the Panoramic business center. The facility will host the new headquarters, classrooms, and the essential infrastructure to support this initiative. The event featured the Chamber’s president, Carlos Baño, alongside CEU rector Higinio Marín and the Minister of National Education, Universities and Labor, José Antonio Rovira, all underscoring the project’s importance for the local business ecosystem.

Following the initial clearance of the venue previously used as a cinema complex, final renovations for the Alicante Chamber’s new headquarters are set to begin in the coming days. The total investment is 3.3 million euros, with 1.5 million euros funded by the Generalitat Valenciana. The remainder will come from the Chamber’s own resources to complete the project.
In his remarks, the Chamber President stressed that the CEU Chamber Campus was created to address the demand from local businesses for qualified workers across all sectors. He highlighted that the project is developed by and for companies, viewing this as a core strength and value of the initiative.
Higinio Marín, rector of CEU Cardenal Herrera University, drew attention to the collaboration between two institutions that are widely recognized both provincially and nationally. He noted that the project will be grounded in the social values that guide the university and emphasized a commitment to integrity in pursuing wealth alongside principled practice. He also remarked on the shared vision of educational excellence and community impact.
Rovira, the councilor, expressed strong support for the project, aligning with the goal of enhancing employability across the region and ensuring that education translates into real job opportunities.
courses
The new business school will initially prioritize postgraduate education, offering a spectrum of programs that range from compact 20-hour specialty courses to university master’s degrees. José Amiguet, CEU Director of Institutional Development, explained that the center intends to move beyond conventional offerings to deliver programs closely tied to Alicante’s commercial realities. The aim is to provide education that resonates with local business needs rather than simply replicating standard curricula.

Programs will be tailored to key sectors that constitute the province’s productive framework, with particular emphasis on food, tourism, decoration, fashion, and footwear. Amiguet added that the curricula will be designed to reflect the commercial dynamics of the region, ensuring relevance for small and medium-sized enterprises, which form the backbone of Alicante’s business community.
In this strategic direction, the center will curate content that aligns with regional market needs, emphasizing practical skills, industry partnerships, and hands-on learning experiences to support local companies and job seekers alike.
CEU’s educational vision also includes a broader plan to expand vocational training, culinary education, business acceleration, and targeted programs for unemployed youth, creating a comprehensive ecosystem that supports talent development across multiple pathways.

The initiative aims to launch the first courses in April, with the bulk of training starting in September. The new headquarters will leverage three ready-to-use classrooms, and renovations are expected to wrap up in roughly five months. Depending on demand, CEU Chamber Campus may also explore offering university degrees in the future.
It is important to note that the business school is part of a larger educational strategy by the Alicante Chamber. The project includes space for vocational training, a high-quality culinary school, a business accelerator, and PICE programs designed to support unemployed youth and rising professionals alike.
