Subsidies for Reindustrialization Activities in Valencian Community 2024

The Official Bulletin of the Valencian Government has published a resolution from the Minister of Innovation, Industry, Commerce, and Tourism, Nuria Montes, announcing the subsidies to support non-economic activities carried out by business associations that promote the reindustrialization of the Valencian Community. For the 2024 fiscal year, the initial budget is set at 2,682,000 euros. Each grant will cover 70 percent of eligible costs, with a maximum amount of 100,000 euros per application. Eligible actions must be carried out between January 1 and November 29, 2024 and must directly benefit companies with a production center located in the Valencian Community.

The subsidies, awarded under a regime of competitive bidding, are aimed at sectoral industrial business associations linked to the following Valencian Community sectors: agri-food industry, automotive sector, biotechnology sector, ceramic sector, glass, aggregates and construction materials sectors, non-metallics sector, leather and footwear sector, energy sector, packaging and container sector, space and aerospace sector, toy and child product sector, wood, furniture, and lighting sector, marble and natural stone sector, metal-mechanical sector, plastics sector, audiovisual and video game production sectors, chemical sector, textile sector, and material valorization sector.

In parallel, these subsidies aim to support non-economic activities that promote the reindustrialization of the Valencian Community, carried out by multisectoral regional business associations at the county level.

Acts that will be eligible include participation in research projects, development and innovation, internationalization and value chain activities, sustainability, training and talent, cooperation and clusters, and industrial safety programs.

The minimum eligible expenditure per grant request, excluding VAT, will be 10,000 euros. Activities that provide a direct or explicit economic advantage to any individual company, or those that constitute an economic activity by the applicant entity, are not eligible for funding.

Eligible expenditures include external collaborations, personnel costs for the entity’s own staff allocated directly to the action plan, and auditing costs for preparing the audit report of the supporting documentation for the grant by an external auditing firm registered in the Official Registry of Account Auditors.

The application window runs from Tuesday, March 26 to Friday, April 16, 2024, both dates inclusive. Applications must be submitted through the specific procedure in the Incentives and Industry Support section of the Ministry of Innovation, Industry, Commerce, and Tourism.
