Sepla Announces Eight New Air Europa Strike Session Dates Across Spain

The Spanish Airline Pilots Association, known as Sepla, has announced eight additional session calls aimed at escalating pressure across Air Europa. The sessions are scheduled for May 22, 23, 25, 26, 29 and 30, as well as June 1 and 2, spanning all Air Europa bases and business centers in Spain. The union emphasizes that these measures are a direct response to what it describes as the company’s persistent disinterest in resolving the ongoing labor dispute. Sepla points to the legitimate wage and workplace demands of its members, which it says were not met following the four day strike earlier this month, occurring on May 1, 2, 4, and 5. The union stresses that continued dialogue with Air Europa’s top management has not materialized, and without constructive engagement, the new strike days will extend throughout the summer period.
