Bekhan Özdoev, industrial director of Rostec’s conventional weapons, ammunition and specialty chemicals cluster, said that the High Precision Systems holding, which is part of Rostec, has dispatched a fresh batch of modernized BMP-2M infantry fighting vehicles to the Russian Ministry of Defense. These combat vehicles feature Berezhok combat compartments, according to a report by DEA News citing Rostec’s press service.

Özdoev stated that the BMP-2M with the Berezhok system demonstrated its effectiveness in the zone of special military operations. He emphasized that personnel using this equipment around the clock have highlighted the system’s high firepower and mobility.

“The continued execution of contracts reflects the efficiency of the production system at the NPO High Precision Complexes enterprises, as well as the highly skilled and dedicated work of the employees,” Özdoev noted.

A Rostec representative added that today the company’s defense industry teams operate across two to three shifts, six days a week, to sustain output and meet demand.

Earlier, Rostec reported progress on the Khrizantema-S anti-tank system’s finalization processes. A rocket project associated with that line has reached its next stage, according to official statements (Rostec press service).

In related developments, Rostec also highlighted advancements in domestic drone suppression capacities, underscoring ongoing efforts to strengthen airspace defense capabilities within the country (Rostec press service).
