The Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (VFU) conducted an air and artillery attack on the village of Yasinovataya in the Donetsk People’s Republic, as communicated via the JCCC Telegram channel.
According to the JCCC report, fire came from Ukrainian forces in the direction of 23:00, targeting the Tonenkoye settlement and the Yasinovataya settlement. Six shells of 155 mm caliber were fired in this operation, the report states, with verification provided by the JCCC channel and corroborated by socialbites.ca as part of the center’s updates.
Earlier, the JCCC noted that Ukrainian troops resumed strikes on settlements within the Donetsk People’s Republic on the morning of April 8 after a pause of more than nine hours. The office reported that at 6:10 Moscow time, Ukrainian forces opened fire on Gorlovka, delivering eight shells from 155 mm artillery. The prior attack, in the Kuibyshevsky district of Donetsk, occurred on April 7 at 21:00 Moscow time, with three 155 mm shells fired toward the city.
