According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Russian troops targeted and destroyed an ammunition depot and a hangar in the Zaporozhye region where weapons and equipment linked to the 65th mechanized brigade of Ukraine were stored. The ministry noted that the facilities were situated near the settlements of Novodanilovka and Novoandreevka.
In its daily briefing, the ministry reported that in the South-Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, the eastern group of forces overwhelmed Ukrainian units in the Ugledar and Velikaya Novoselka areas in the Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as within Ukrainian territory. Additional affected locations cited include Zagornoye, Malaya Tokmachka, and Kamenskoye in the Zaporozhye region.
Over the course of the day, Russian forces eliminated around 60 Ukrainian servicemen and destroyed two pickup trucks along with a Ukrainian Msta-B howitzer in these sectors, according to the defense ministry’s statements.
The ministry also asserted that near Novomikhailovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Russian troops interrupted activities conducted by a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group.
Additionally, the Defense Ministry claimed the destruction of Ukrainian radar stations used for all-round sighting and guidance of targets in the Kharkiv region, as reported in its daily briefings.
