Pushed under an oncoming train
At a Kiev station in Moscow, a man shoved a 15-year-old from behind. The youth toppled toward the tracks as a train approached. A video of the moment circulated online, showing the boy vanish beneath the advancing car while nearby passengers sprang into action to restrain the aggressor.
Telegram channel 112 identified the assailant as Vladimir Kizik, born in 1961. Authorities note he is registered with a psycho-neurological dispensary. Reporters state there was no prior conflict between the man and the child before the attack.
Fortunately the teenager’s injuries were not life-threatening. He sustained bruises and scrapes and was hospitalized for further examination, according to Mash, which reported on his condition.
criminal case
Following the incident, the Moscow Investigative Committee opened a criminal case for attempted murder. Officials stated that the 15-year-old was pushed onto the tracks for no obvious reason in a subway lobby. The teenager was not in immediate danger of death, and investigators noted that the suspect had sought psychiatric care multiple times in the past.
Investigators worked on the scene, questioning witnesses and reviewing security footage to establish a complete timeline of events.
The Moscow prosecutor’s office later confirmed it had taken control of the case and acknowledged the attacker’s birth year as 1961. The juvenile was taken to the hospital for additional evaluation.
Prosecutors announced that the perpetrator had been arrested.
Police officials from the city’s metro station told TASS that passengers restrained the man after the attack and handed him over to law enforcement authorities.
“Obviously Alcoholic”
An eyewitness described approaching the Kiev station just as the train had halted. The attacker appeared intoxicated and in an unstable state. The teen escaped serious harm by landing directly in the track pit as the train passed, after which the power supply was shut down and the boy was safely removed. The witness noted that emergency responders arrived quickly and the teen was moved to medical facilities for assessment.
The eyewitness added that police detained the man and the teen was transported to a medical crossing for evaluation along the blue line.
According to the observer, the suspect did not struggle when detained. He appeared disheveled and intoxicated, and the observer described him as older, not fully coherent, and visibly affected by alcohol.
“He did not know the child 100%”
Vladimir Kizık’s spouse spoke with Telegram channel 112, indicating the man should not be kept away from medical care. She noted that her husband had recently been discharged from a psychiatric facility and had been moved to a day hospital. She said the hospital did not disclose the exact reason for his illness, but that he carried a diagnosis of organic brain injury with affective disorder. She recalled a prior incident at home in which her husband attempted to harm her, adding that he did not know the child personally and that the youngster bore a resemblance to her.
Later, Shot Telegram released footage featuring the attacker asked why he shoved the boy. He stated he could not explain the action. He answered questions about intent by nodding and acknowledging that the act could have caused death while insisting there was no conscious decision to harm the boy.
