Port Hotels expands with a Valencia technology passport for guests

Port Hotels, along with Harbor Hotels, announces a collaboration with Valencia Technology to deliver enhanced services directly through their websites. The aim is to simplify guest experiences and provide value beyond a traditional stay.

The Passport is a digital planning tool that guides travelers through predetermined routes and points of interest aligned with individual preferences. It offers the ability to book museum tickets, reserve dining at local restaurants, and plan activities from start to finish. The platform serves as a companion for discovering a destination through curated excursions, maps, and shareable travel itineraries to spark ideas for future trips.

According to Port Hotels, the key to customer loyalty lies in offering comprehensive facilities before, during, and after a stay. The alliance with Passporter aligns with the goal of delivering a seamless experience so guests can discover and enjoy the destination directly on the hotel websites without having to search elsewhere. This update was announced by Port Hotels Communications Director, Anna Major.

This alliance is particularly relevant to the urban hotels in Valencia, Alicante, and Elche. Guests of Port Hotels are encouraged to explore their host cities with greater interest in local culture and cuisine, using the Passporter platform as a guide to a richer travel experience.

The Passporter platform also features a culinary guide to savor the city’s gastronomy. Port Hotels highlights Cel & Terra restaurants at the Port Feria hotel, famous for Valencian esmorzette, and Cel & Mar at Port Azafata, known for signature rice dishes. The culinary focus complements the overall travel experience, emphasizing local flavors and traditions.

One example of the chain’s properties is located in Dénia, a detail noted on site. The Passporter tool, available now on the Port Hotels website, connects with the Passporter multi-device platform to ensure easy access from any device.

Harbor Hotels operates eleven properties across Benidorm, Elche, Valencia, Alicante, Dénia, and Calpe. Beyond hotel accommodations, the group runs five restaurants and more than twenty venues for social and corporate events. The company employs over six hundred people and offers nearly four thousand hotel beds in destinations along the Mediterranean shores, inspired by guest needs and preferences.

Last year, the chain reported revenue of approximately 52 million, marking a twelve percent increase over the previous record set in 2019. An ambitious expansion plan targets growing from eleven to fifteen properties by 2030, supported by ongoing land acquisitions in Benidorm and strategic opportunities in Alicante, Elche, and Valencia to develop new projects and strengthen the brand footprint.

In line with this strategy, Harbor Hotels continues to seek growth through diversified offerings and improved guest experiences, leveraging the Passporter collaboration to elevate service levels and destination discovery for travelers across its footprint.
