The renovation of the facilities led by Padel Courts Deluxe and the construction of seven new paddle tennis courts are approaching completion on the scheduled dates. The resort is prepared to host a comprehensive lineup of events and will celebrate the opening during a period when many visitors arrive to enjoy the Easter holidays.
The collaboration between Oliva Nova and the British company Game4Padel expands the resort’s sports offerings and marks a shift toward a new athletic segment that aligns with the region’s strategy of boosting tourism through sports.
Resort CEO Luis Borho emphasizes the significance of the opening, stating, “The launch of these new paddle tennis facilities marks a key milestone for the resort, and there is strong confidence that it will become a reference destination for paddle tennis enthusiasts.” The sport will attract players not only from the local area but also from international visitors throughout the year.
To mark the opening, Oliva Nova and Game4Padel organized an action-packed weekend. The program features an American-style tournament on Thursday, complimentary track testing on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and advance bookings via the MATCHi app. The schedule includes two main events on Friday and Saturday afternoon: a coaching clinic led by professional paddle tennis instructor Manu Martín and an exhibition match featuring Alejandro Martínez, founder and CEO of PadelMBA.
