Minecraft Legends is the much anticipated action and strategy title from Mojang Studios. It was revealed during Microsoft’s Developer Direct and announced for release on April 18. The game will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC. Subscribers to Game Pass can play at no extra cost when it launches on PC and Xbox.

Fight Against the Piglin Invasion

The central mission in Legends is to protect the surface from a Piglin invasion. During Developer Direct it was confirmed that players can also face off in 4v4 battles against friends and other opponents. In PvP matches, the objective is to destroy the enemy base while building and strengthening one’s own. The developers emphasize that defense is as crucial as attack in this build. Legends invites players to journey through a peaceful land filled with vibrant biomes and abundant resources, both familiar and mysterious. Yet this serene realm faces a dramatic shift as the Piglin invasion begins to threaten the Overworld. Players will forge alliances and traverse into the dangerous Nether, forming unexpected friendships with familiar mobs from the Minecraft universe to lead strategic battles against invaders.

Each battle features a procedurally generated map, ensuring no two adventures are the same. In the story campaign, players explore a world rich with treasure and danger, encounter familiar mobs, meet mysterious new characters, and strategize with allies to repel the Piglin threat.
