A mother of a 17-year-old girl attending La Consolacif3n education center in Ibiza reported to the National Police Station on Wednesday that her daughter has endured bullying connected to the school for months. The complaint also implicates siblings of former students from the same group of attackers. At the center’s entrance, a second student accompanying the girl managed to escape the assault, and they both decided to seek help at the police station. An estimated crowd of about twenty people was alleged to be involved, according to the family that filed the report. The case has also been brought to the attention of the Ministry of Education.

The mother described intimidation directed at her daughter by two students from different classes. While there was no physical violence reported in her daughter2s case, a friend faced a direct assault the day prior. The complaint notes that the victim was at Reina Sofeda Park after La Consolacif3n evacuated the area due to a fire near the old Cine Cartago.

There, the two assailants pursued the victims as they talked with a friend. According to the account, they threw objects described as balls and bottles, striking the girl in the neck. The attackers then confronted the victims, delivering two kicks to the stomach and shoving them. The complaint also accuses a class teacher of blaming the victims for the incident, an allegation the family finds deeply troubling.

The following day, upon leaving class, a witness reportedly warned the girls that a group of about twenty outsiders was waiting to ambush them near the exit, allegedly instigated by the two main attackers. The girls sought protection from a teacher and were accompanied to safety. A second teacher then intervened with the group preparing the attack. Police were contacted, and both the National Police and the Ibiza Local Police reportedly attended the scene. Later that afternoon the mother accompanied the girls to the police station to file the formal report as advised by a local address.

The documents describe an incident that occurred about a month earlier when the assailants allegedly spat insults at classmates as the complainant2s daughter walked home from the center. The confrontation continued as the daughter passed the Santa Maria Institute, with further taunts and spit directed at her. The police report also records threats of aggression made three weeks prior to the attempted attack, including a claim that someone carried a knife frequently.

The mother also states that the abuse extended to the victim2s younger sister, a nine-year-old who also attends La Consolacif3n. The testimony claims the attackers pressured the sister with threats and urged her to warn her sibling that further harm would follow if she did not comply.

In response to the ongoing concerns, the school implemented an anti-harassment protocol and conducted targeted training after the failed attempt. According to the mother, the measures taken by the center up to that point relied on discussions between the students and school staff, but did not appear to be connected to a formal process that would lead to suspension. The family contends that the school actions did not address the persistence of the behavior, which continued to affect the students involved.

Despite this, the parent says the school authorities pledged to pursue the matter to its conclusion within the police process and the Maif proceedings. The family claims that the school leadership had limited authority to act beyond what the school could implement on its own unless a police report was filed. Education authorities noted that police prosecutions for assault operate independently of any disciplinary steps the center might envisage under its own protocols. Attempts to contact La Consolacif3n for comment were unsuccessful at the time of reporting.
