Kursk Region Flu Vaccination Efforts and Shelter Health Measures

A recent report citing Rospotrebnadzor data shows that about one third of the vaccinated residents in the Kursk region have received a flu shot. This statistic comes via TASS, reflecting the ongoing vaccination efforts in the area. The authorities emphasize that vaccination is being organized in temporary accommodation centers, known as TAPs, to reach residents who are displaced or staying in communal shelters. In support of this initiative, the region has deployed 84 mobile vaccination teams, each equipped with flu vaccines, medications, antiseptics, personal protective gear, and all necessary equipment and consumables to administer vaccines and ensure safe handling. This coordinated operation underscores a comprehensive approach to protecting the community against seasonal influenza while leveraging the temporary housing network to boost coverage.
