June pension update with summer bonus and deductions for retirees

The Social Security General Treasury will continue its June payments, including the summer bonus for all retirees across the country. The additional amount matches the regular monthly pension payment, so this month the beneficiary will receive twice the usual deposit into the designated state account.

Announcement from the Undersecretariat of the Treasury: Allowable deductions from retirees’ income statements.

The precise collection date remains the same as every month: the 25th. If that date falls on a Sunday, as it did in June, the cash will be available to the retiree on Monday the 26th.

Spanish pensioners see their supplementary payments vary within a range. For those at the lower end, individuals over 65 with a dependent spouse will receive 1,932.4 euros; 1,566.2 euros without a spouse and 1,486.6 euros with a non dependent spouse. [Source: Treasury]

Pensioners have reason to be informed: what the extra income means for them

The situation for severely disabled individuals aged over 65 shows higher amounts for those with a dependent spouse at 2,898.6 euros; without dependents 2,349.4 euros; and with a non dependent spouse 2,230 euros. For retirees who qualify for the maximum pension, which is 3,059 euros, the June increase reflects the regular salary plus the extra payment, totaling 6,118 euros for the month. [Source: Treasury]
