Inspired Education Group, a global leader in private education that serves more than 85,000 students across six continents, reports the outstanding IB Diploma results achieved by students at its Spanish campuses. The results are especially notable at King’s College Soto de Viñuelas, Mirabal International School, International School San Patricio Toledo, Colegio San Patricio El Soto, and King’s College Alicante.

King’s College Soto de Viñuelas posted an impressive average of 36 points. About 37% of students earned 38 points or more, and 20% reached 40 points or above. With 89% surpassing the global average, this school has solidified its position as Spain’s top IB average, placing it at the pinnacle of IB offerings in the country.

Mirabal International School delivered equally strong national results, achieving an average of 35.5 points and with 30% of its students scoring 38 points or more.

Following closely are International School San Patricio Toledo with an average of 34.5, Colegio San Patricio El Soto with 34, and King’s College Alicante with 33.5.

Beyond strong academic performance, graduates from these campuses have gained admission to world-renowned universities such as King’s College London, Rice University, University College London, Durham University, Imperial College London, University of Edinburgh, St. Andrews, IE University, Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICA), Universidad de Navarra, and many others.

María Blasco, a Mirabal International School alumna who earned 43 IB points, describes her experience as one of the most valuable of her life so far. She emphasizes that the program prepared her academically while also developing essential research and teamwork skills.

Íñigo Pérez Parra, a student at International School San Patricio Toledo, shares that after twelve years at the school he will study at Rice University in Houston next year with a Diploma score of 43. He stresses the unwavering support from the school community and especially the teachers, whose commitment to excellence and personal encouragement were key to his motivation and success.

Olivia Vargas of King’s College Soto de Viñuelas reflects on the Diploma journey, noting a generally positive experience and expressing pride in achieving 44 points. She would gladly recommend the program to future students.

School directors also weigh in. Simon Wicks, principal of King’s College Alicante, celebrates the remarkable achievements of students and staff in the IB Diploma Programme. He notes that 10% of the first cohort to sit the examinations achieved 40 points or more, and one student earned 44 out of 45 possible points. He adds that more than half of the cohort earned bilingual diplomas, underscoring the school’s status among the world’s best and enabling graduates to access prestigious universities globally.

Borja Díaz, head of Colegio San Patricio El Soto, highlights that in the eleventh Diploma cohort, nearly 100 candidates improved by 1.3 points compared with the previous year, reaching an average of 34 points — 4 points above the global average and a record for the school. About 85% of graduates earned the bilingual diploma. He also acknowledges the hard work of students, teachers, and staff, along with family support over the two-year program.

Diaz adds that graduates start university life well prepared, with places secured at prestigious institutions such as Durham, Imperial College London, Edinburgh, UCL, St. Andrews, IE University, Comillas ICAI-ICADE, CEU, and the University of Navarra.
