Hotelverse, a startup in the hospitality tech space, announced on Wednesday that it will expand its services into the United States and Asian markets this year. The company also plans to broaden the capabilities of its immersive digital twin platform, which lets hotel guests explore rooms, amenities, surroundings, and cities in 3D visualizations. The expansion signals a broader move to integrate advanced digital tools into everyday hotel operations and guest experiences.

Speaking at the International Tourism Fair Fitur 2024 in Ifema, CEO and co founder Fermin Carmona outlined the roadmap for 2024. He emphasized a continued push into the U.S. and Asian markets and noted that the current funding round will fund AI powered processes designed to guide navigation through the digital twin more effectively. Carmona highlighted that the funding will enable more sophisticated analytics and real time visibility into hotel performance across properties in the network.

Among the new features, Carmona announced the addition of an option branded as get your sunbed, allowing guests to reserve sun loungers with seaside or pool views. The system leverages the digital twin to map sunbed availability and guest demand, enabling front row or premium seating selections during a guest stay. The approach addresses peak season challenges when sun loungers can be in scarce supply, and it opens up possibilities for premium experiences as part of the guest journey.

In addition to sunbed reservations, a forthcoming feature called grab your table will let guests reserve tables at hotel restaurants. By viewing dining table positions from a mobile device or computer, guests can coordinate meal service alongside other hotel experiences, integrating food and beverage options directly into the digital twin interface.

Hotelverse plans collaboration with Eisi Soft to implement the digital twin model across hotel operations. The aim is to streamline front desk activities, housekeeping, technical services, and overall hotel management. Real time indicators will show which rooms are clean, which have the strongest reputations, and where pricing offers the best value. The goal is to move the digital twin inside the hotel to optimize core operational processes and improve guest service.

According to Carmona, the tool is already driving better room selection at reception. He reported increased sales through direct interactions with guests, noting that the company has achieved stronger performance in room upgrades and higher value room sales through the digital twin guided process.

Beyond front desk and in house operations, the platform is improving reservation outcomes in call centers. Previously, a caller might receive a price quote without details on room types or locations. With the digital twin, travel agents can present options such as specific rooms on preferred floors or buildings with proximity to pools. This enhanced information helps inform guest decisions and supports higher conversion rates by reducing dependency on intermediaries.

In 2023, Hotelverse added to its network by acquiring the Hotelverse division and joining more than 60 partners, including Amadeus, Opera, Innsist, and Booksassist. The integration extends into PMS booking engines and other content management systems, enabling smoother data flows and interoperability across platforms.

Last year the platform counted marquee clients such as Pestana CR7, RIU, and Marina d’Or among its adopters. Hotel chains including Radisson, Riù, Barcelò, and Hyatt have also deployed the digital twin across more than 20 countries, highlighting the model’s appeal to midscale through premium properties and the growing adoption of digital twin technology in hospitality.

Looking ahead, the startup aims for international expansion in 2024 and beyond. The company raised more than 3 million euros in its second financing round, a figure that supports ongoing technological development and broader deployment. Through these efforts, Hotelverse seeks to deepen its market presence in the United States and Asia while continuing to evolve its digital twin solutions to deliver measurable operational benefits and enhanced guest experiences.
