“Guy Gerber Raped Me.” A 37-year-old woman living in Ibiza has publicly accused the celebrity on social media. The claim centers on a 2013 party where the Argentine-born DJ allegedly delivered drugs and alcohol to her, leading to sexual assault.
The woman notes that OPEN CASE did not file a police or judicial complaint about rape in the nine years since the incident. She says she met Guy Gerber at a mutual friend’s home in Mykonos, Greece, where the producer performed on July 27, 2013. By that time, Gerber was already known for performing in private venues in Ibiza, London, Los Angeles, and New York.
a line
She recounts that he approached her as he finished DJing, offered a series of stimulants and a dose of alcohol, and she accepted, believing it would not be harmful while she was sober.
She describes how, within about 10 to 15 minutes, he leaned in and kissed her. She felt shocked and tried to push him away, but movement became impossible, and her head felt like it was screaming. The next memory is her being taken to a room with his arm around her shoulder as her consciousness faded, coinciding with the start of a new season and tour for the producer at a well-known Ibiza nightclub.
Naked, with bruises
Hours later she regained consciousness, waking beside him, naked, with no clear memory of the events and accompanied by pain in the groin area. She recalls bruises lasting several days and the effort to gather herself and leave the room to return to the ship where she was staying.
Gerber has denied the assault. According to CASE OPEN, investigations disclosed in the Majorcan press, and statements from lawyer Jaime Campas, who has pursued legal action against the accuser for slander and damages to the producer’s image and reputation.
Gerber’s circle has criticized the woman for making serious allegations on social media rather than going to police or court, noting that the claims appeared nine years after the event and coincided with the DJ’s return to the island for performances.
rohypnol
The accuser says she did not report the alleged assault at the time because she could not remember the events, claiming that she was drugged with Rohypnol, a substance associated with memory loss in sexual assaults. She explains that upon reaching her friends she began to experience disorientation and emotional distress. She did not know what Rohypnol was or how it worked, and she had to reason through how to respond to the situation and the use of stimulants.
She recalls a call from her boyfriend indicating a pregnancy, disturbing nightmares, and a sense of guilt. She describes repressing the memory and continuing with life as if nothing had happened, even when seeing Gerber again in later events.
She explains that her decision to speak publicly now is driven by a wish to protect other women and to help Ibiza take a stand against a harmful culture.
consensual sex
Gerber issued a statement on Instagram presenting his version. He says he was playing late that night and that the two spoke briefly after she approached him multiple times. He notes he found the situation odd because he was with another man, and that the party gradually emptied while he remained with her, waiting for others to sleep.
He says they eventually went to a room at a villa and had sex until they fell asleep. When they woke, she reportedly felt guilty about her boyfriend, and he adds that he was surprised to learn they were in an open relationship. They did not see each other again, though he says he did later perform at least once where she appeared on his schedule.
The DJ insists he thought he understood the circumstances and says he would prove his version in court. He adds that his stance on the movement remains supportive and urges continued belief in Me Too, which has addressed sexual assault cases faced by many women.
