BME Growth welcomes a new player in the midsize market segment
This week marks an important expansion for BME Growth with the entry of a new group focused on industrial photovoltaic self consumption. The Greening Group from Granada brings a full spectrum of capabilities across the energy value chain, spanning installation, production, and sales of solar power solutions. The float price is set at 4.92 euros per share, valuing the enterprise at roughly 143 million euros at the time of listing.
Led by chief executive Ignacio Salcedo, the leadership team specializes in self consumption and brings a track record in deploying solar energy projects across commercial and industrial settings. Salcedo is expected to anchor the market bell at the Madrid Stock Exchange, signaling a strategic milestone for the company. Headquarters are in Granada, with a business footprint that traces back to 2011. The group operates across Spain, Europe including Germany, France, and Italy, and has a presence in the United States, Mexico, and Morocco.

The Greening Group aims to raise up to 23 million euros through the initial public offering to support its business plan. Funds from the IPO will finance strategic growth initiatives and accelerate expansion. The largest shareholder, Ignacio Salcedo Ruiz, holds a 36.84 percent stake, followed by Manuel Mateos Palacios who owns 18.42 percent. These ownership details reflect a leadership structure aligned with the company’s growth ambitions and governance approach.
Suspension of listing
Greening faces a contrast with a peer, EiDF Solar from Pontevedra, whose listing process experienced a temporary halt after the supervising firm PwC declined to sign the accounts. EiDF carries a market value near 1.6 billion euros and was positioned to pursue a capital raise in the vicinity of 150 to 180 million euros to fund growth projects. The business model of EiDF closely mirrors Greening’s, focusing on industrial self consumption with a presence throughout the value chain, achieved through strategic acquisitions of specialist companies.
