Fundesem outlines path forward amid funding and lease dispute in Alicante

Fundesem, the Alicante business school, remains in a precarious position as administrators search for a viable solution after Ivace rejected a plan to partner with the European University. The authority decided to terminate the lease and is pursuing 1.65 million euros for delays attributed to the school. In a public statement last Thursday, Cayetano Sánchez Butrón, who leads the center, affirmed that classes would proceed as scheduled and that every student would receive the promised education. The school also decided to keep registrations open for the next term’s programs that are currently in full marketing progression. For the moment, registration fees will not be collected until there is greater clarity on the situation.
