The Russian Ministry of Justice added nine citizens and two organizations to the foreign agents register. This update was reported by regional sections.
The list names economist Vladislav Inozemtsev, anthropologist Alexandra Arkhipova, rock musician Lyova from the band Bi-2, whose real name is Egor Bortnik, former State Duma deputy Magomed Gadzhiev, television presenter Irina Alleman, director of the Novosibirsk Open College Sergey Chernyshov, Mothers and Olga Tsukanova, founder of the Council of Spouses, lawyer Anna Pshenichnaya, and Carnegie Foundation staff member Alexander Gabuev, who is described as connected to foreign influence according to the ministry.
The ministry states that the musician opposed the special military operation in Ukraine, spoke negatively about the Russian Federation, its people, and government institutions.
During a period abroad the former MP indicated willingness to cooperate with foreign sources to obtain citizenship elsewhere and expressed support for Ukrainian authorities.
Alleman distributed materials created by foreign agents to a wide audience, disseminating what the ministry called false information about the actions of the Russian Armed Forces and speaking unfavorably about Russian state officials.
Inozemtsev took part in creating messages and materials for a broad audience that allegedly spread unreliable information about decisions and policies of public authorities in the Russian Federation.
Chernyshov propagated false information about Russian government decisions and policies using modern information technologies and served as a liaison on platforms run by foreign media. He also opposed the NWO.
Arkhipova contributed to the creation and distribution of materials intended for a broad audience produced by foreign agents, including misinformation about state officials and the actions of the Russian army, and she opposed the Ukrainian operation.
Gabuev reportedly received support from foreign information platforms, participated in the creation of messages and materials with foreign sources including foreign agents, and circulated such content while criticizing Russian state officials.
Pshenichnaya circulated false information regarding the activities of state officials and the Russian Armed Forces, supported Ukrainian authorities, and took part in making materials for foreign agents while receiving support from foreign sources.
Tsukanova opposed the special military operation, held a negative view of military service, and contributed to the creation and distribution of materials from foreign agents to a broad audience.
The organization People’s Union of the Resurrection of Russia and the citizens’ movement Council of Mothers and Wives, an initiative of this association, were also cited for disseminating false information about the decisions of the state bodies of the Russian Federation and the policies pursued by those bodies.
Former Ministry of Justice authorities added to the foreign agents list the former mayor of Yekaterinburg, Yevgeny Roizman, who has been recognized as a foreign agent in Russia, along with five others.
