The events unfolded after a person leapt from the third floor as a house caught fire on San Carlos de Oliva street in Valencia. Emergency services received a report shortly after 10:30 PM yesterday, describing a person who had fallen into the void as flames began to take hold in the residence. The sequence of the night brought a swift response from local teams as night fell in the city.
Three fire brigades, operated by teams from Gandia and Oliva, together with a sergeant from Gandia, were deployed to the scene. Firefighters immediately faced the blaze in the home, focusing on suppressing the fire in the dining area while smoke began to fill other parts of the building.
