Costa Blanca Cocktail Week: Three Cities, One Night of Local Cocktail Craft

Cities Alicante, Elche and Torrevieja will host a vibrant conference as part of Costa Blanca Cocktail Week, an entertainment initiative that offers free cocktail tastings crafted from locally produced ingredients. The event is backed by the Costa Blanca Provincial Tourism Board in partnership with the Alicante Restaurants and Entertainment Venues Association ALROA, highlighting the region’s rich culinary and drink-making traditions.

The event unfolds simultaneously in three central drinking venues across the three cities.

The conference will run in parallel at three well known spots: the NIC on Calle Castaños in Alicante, Saint Patrick’s pub on Paseo Eras de Santa Lucia in Elche, and La Plaza bar in Torrevieja.

Starts are staggered to accommodate each city: 19:00 in Alicante and Torrevieja, and 22:00 in Elche. Bartenders across the participating venues will showcase a variety of innovative cocktails that celebrate the region’s flavors, inviting guests to explore drinks made with local Alicante and Costa Blanca products. The aim is to delight attendees with new, creative combinations while highlighting the province’s agricultural and culinary heritage.

Last year, the initiative included a conference held in the MARQ gardens, organized by the Costa Blanca Tourism Board.

During the previous edition, the program featured a day in MARQ’s gardens where national and international cocktail shakers presented a range of pairings. The emphasis remained on showcasing local products from Alicante and the broader Costa Blanca, with a focus on how regional ingredients can elevate classic and contemporary cocktails.
