In a three-minute rehearsal last Wednesday, Chanel delivered a standout performance in the Italian city, again catching the audience’s eye during this essential technical test. The artist demonstrated her exceptional ability to sing and dance simultaneously, maintaining control and energy throughout the routine.
Next Saturday, Spain’s contestant will take the stage at Turin’s Alpitour Forum to present the final version of her act with the new piece titled Slo Mo. The performance is expected to showcase deliberate refinements compared with the first edition seen at the Benidorm Festival, featuring more Spanish-inflected styling, meticulous planning, and refined lighting cues.
Complementing a look designed by Cordovan designer Palomo Spain, the performance incorporates the red and yellow hues of Spain’s flag and resolves the stage’s kinetic sun issue. Instrumental arrangements have undergone adjustments, and the show integrates fan effects and pyrotechnics as part of a polished technical run. Chanel is joined by her dance crew—Exon Arcos, Josh Huerta, Pol Soto, Raquel Caurín, and Ria Pérez—whose synchronized movements and stage presence add to the overall impact.
Specifically, the most noticeable changes occur in the final segment, including a reworked choir and an extended solo from Chanel. Her ascent through ascending notes in the higher registers highlights her vocal versatility and her ability to blend intricate singing with dynamic choreography.
