Benidorm Prepares for a Weekend of Live Music at Low Festival
Benidorm is ready for the music to rise through the skyline. From tonight through Sunday, the city that never stops turning its towers into light will host the eagerly awaited Low Festival, featuring 75 artists and groups on multiple stages. Metronomy and Nathy Peluso headline the opening night, while the spotlight shifts to the following day where Fangoria and Amaia stand out as star acts, and Sunday promises a final surge with Primal Scream and Izal closing the festival, among others.
Editors and Izal headliners are part of an edition designed to be memorable. The organizers just unveiled a sold-out run for the three-day event, signaling a record turnout in a city that will welcome tens of thousands of visitors across hotels and holiday rentals during the festival period.
Midway through the festival, the action centers on Ciudad Deportiva Guillermo Amor, which hosts five stages that transform Low Festival into a full-blown live music experience. Dorian, Fangoria, Metronomy, and Izal will perform on the Vibra Mahou stage, in what will likely be some of their final shows before extended breaks. The festival also features a robust daytime and evening programme designed to keep the energy high from early sets to late-night finales.
The festival lineup also places Benidorm Music & Emotion in a prime position, with performances from Shinova, Amaia, Ojete Calor, Ginebras, and La La Love You. Ellesse injects danceable rhythm into the afternoons and evenings with sets by popular DJs such as Nando Costa, Flaca, and Don Fluor, ensuring a continuous rhythm across multiple venues.
Radio 3 returns with its own stage and a strong roster that includes Belako, Chico Blanco, Veintiuno, and Joe Crepúsculo, adding another layer of depth to the overall experience. Those holding VIP Pool access will again enjoy exclusive Pool Stage sets, a perk that blends music with a splash of luxury for the weekend. The program is designed to balance high-profile headline acts with emerging artists, creating a festival atmosphere that appeals to diverse tastes and ages.
With a festival footprint that stretches across multiple venues, Low Festival aims to deliver a cohesive experience. Attendees can expect a mix of indie rock, electro-pop, Spanish contemporary acts, and underground sounds, all curated to reflect the current energy of the live music scene. For visitors planning a trip, the city’s accommodation options are expected to fill quickly, and local hospitality providers are aligning services to meet the anticipated demand. This edition marks a moment of renewal for Benidorm, inviting both locals and travelers to experience an extended weekend of performances, community, and celebration. [citation needed]
