cow beer hops is expanding its footprint, building on momentum from its origins in Dénia. the brand is solidifying its identity and advancing a fourth logistics center, planned for the province of Valencia. the project involves an investment of 16 million euros, according to the company on monday.
the new facilities will sit on a 30,000-square-meter plot in the El Brosquil industrial area, with direct access to the N-332, the Pego highway, and the recent AP-7 connection. the warehouse currently under construction spans 17,800 square meters and includes 13 loading docks with a capacity for 31,000 pallets.

currently, alongside the required upgrades to the area, interior renovations are underway. offices totaling 4,800 square meters will be spread across three floors. the new center is expected to generate employment for about 200 people, both directly and indirectly.
the Oliva center will be the fourth logistics hub for the Grimalt family business, joining locations in Alicante, Ondara, Pedreguer, and Bellreguard in Valencia, where the company is headquartered. altogether, the four warehouses encompass more than 48,000 square meters of space.
the aim of this expansion is to strengthen logistics capacity and lay a foundation for annual growth, with roughly 30 new openings each year. by the end of last year, the number of operating stores surpassed 300.
apart from Spain and Portugal, which the company views as its core territory, Ale-Hop began an international expansion in 2021 with entry into Croatia through a franchise network and has continued to grow with its own properties in Italy, where four stores are now located in Bergamo, Pavia, Cesenatico, and Ravenna.
this year the focus will be on expanding in Croatia and advancing the internationalization strategy. most openings planned for the year are expected to occur there, according to company leadership.
