According to Aeroflot Group’s press service, the summer schedule is designed to connect the Kaliningrad region with major hubs and to provide residents and guests with a wide range of frequent options. The plan emphasizes strong operational tempo during the peak travel months, with a focus on convenient access to Moscow and the capital region’s key airports, as well as seamless transfers across the airline group’s wider network. This approach aligns with the needs of families planning holidays, business travelers timing seasonal trips, and local residents seeking predictable flight options throughout the summer season.

From June through September, the fleet rotation and flight planning aim to sustain more than 160 weekly rotations on routes that serve Kaliningrad directly from two major gateways. This elevated level of service is intended to reduce wait times and provide reliable scheduling during busy travel periods, making it simpler for travelers to align flights with personal timetables and school holiday calendars. The comprehensive timetable is structured to balance capacity with demand, ensuring that the most popular times remain accessible while maintaining efficiency across the route network.

In the direct Moscow–Kaliningrad corridor, Aeroflot will operate up to 15 daily departures at the height of the season. Within this framework, Aeroflot will contribute the majority of flights, Pobeda will offer a smaller but significant number, and Rossiya will handle a portion of the movements. The weekly total for this route cluster will be capped at around 105 flights, reflecting a robust, high-frequency option for travelers who prefer morning or evening departures and the flexibility to plan multi-day trips without compromising on convenience.

The St. Petersburg–Kaliningrad service is designed to maintain up to eight rotations per day, combining services from two carriers to cover demand across the summer period. Six daily rotations will be operated by Rossiya, with Pobeda contributing up to two additional flights. Taken together, this route will offer as many as 56 flights per week, delivering reliable access between Russia’s northwest and the westernmost exclave during peak vacation windows.

This expanded flight footprint is intended to simplify travel planning during the busy summer holidays and school vacation windows. With a broad spread of departures across morning, afternoon, and evening slots, travelers can choose flights that best fit their schedules, reducing the need for long layovers or last-minute rearrangements. The broader schedule also supports more comfortable travel experiences by spreading demand and minimizing crowding on popular services.

At both Sheremetyevo and Pulkovo airports, passengers from Russia’s western regions can benefit from the Aeroflot Group’s extensive route network, which spans domestic and international connections. This creates a more cohesive experience for travelers who rely on smooth connections, flexible itineraries, and predictable service quality as they move through the airline group’s hubs and focus cities. The operational plan underscores a commitment to dependable frequencies, coordinated timetables, and efficient operations that accommodate seasonal surges while maintaining a stable travel experience for crews and passengers alike [Aeroflot press service].
