Thrive, a Belgian company, is launching a non-alcoholic beer fortified with proteins and vitamins, designed for post-exercise consumption. The beverage is made from natural ingredients with no added sugar, and its formula was developed in collaboration with the University of Leuven, comprising water, barley malt, hops, yeast, and protein.

Tentorium Energy, based in Ulldecona, has long developed high-quality vegan products. It also offers a garlic and parmesan flavoured condiment under the Nuveg brand, a nutritional supplement. The sauce delivers 43% bioavailable protein and contains the full range of B vitamins.

Proteins in different formats

Fripozo presents a variety of high-protein dishes such as Thai noodles and kebabs with rice and mushrooms. Best Diet joins with sliced bread that contains 170% more protein. Noel and El Pozo meats offer high-protein, low-fat, sugar-free deli options.

Egg milk

Originating in Galicia at Granja Campomayor, a farm with eight decades of history in poultry, Mundo Healthy began in 2018 in collaboration with CSIC to create Wovo. This egg-white based product serves as a dairy alternative with no fat, carbohydrates, or sugar and a higher protein value, ideal for desserts and other recipes.

The Realfooding company has released a version of its ketchup made with dates instead of sugar, delivering the same taste in a healthier form.

A new era in healthy snacks

Snack’inForYou offers serrano ham chips as a high-protein, crunchy snack made with just ham and salt. It also features crunchy poppers such as peas, chickpeas, rice, and broccoli. Gala Foods, the maker of Torres potato chips, introduces Ouegg, a single-ingredient snack with a crispy texture. This product boosts egg protein to about 48% while keeping carbohydrates low and providing iron, vitamin D, and calcium.

Completely vegan casseroles, fabadas and stews

Catalan brand Nuveg offers an easy-to-prepare vegan jerky filling made from pea and faba proteins. The Jan Zandbergen Group produces lamb strips based on pea, wheat, and soy proteins and crafts traditional and vegan dishes such as Valencian Dacsa, Madrid stew, fabada, and lentils.

New formats, new trends: bubble tea

Bubble Tea blends green tea with fruity jelly bubbles that burst in the mouth. Originating in Taiwan, it gained widespread popularity in France, Italy, and Germany and is now gaining traction in Spain as well.

Lleida based Gaudea is launching an artisanal gin crafted from Arbequina olives, paired with aromatic herbs such as lemon murta and wild mint and spices like coriander seeds and nutmeg. The resulting flavor is bold and invites a return to more traditional roots.

Eurocaviar, headquartered in Murcia, has produced caviar-like spheres using various fish species for four decades. The range now includes mango, raspberry, and citrus varieties, suitable for sweet and savory recipes.
